Vocus appoints Kevin Griffen as GM Enterprise & State Government Sales

Vocus, Australia’s specialist fibre and network solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Kevin Griffen as General Manager Enterprise & State Government Sales.

Mr Griffen brings 35 years of experience in senior leadership, sales management and business development roles in the telecommunications industry across Europe, USA and Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Vocus, he spent 15 years at Orange Business Services, including seven years as Managing Director, Australiasia. That followed almost 20 years in sales leadership roles at BT.

Mr Griffen joins Vocus as the company continues a new phase of investment and growth, and begins its first week under new ownership of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets and Aware Super.

“What great timing for Kevin to join Vocus as our new General Manager of Enterprise and State Government,” said Vocus Chief Executive, Enterprise & Government, Andrew Wildblood.

“Kevin has a strong track record of growth as a challenger in the enterprise market across all industry segments, and he’ll be a perfect fit for this new chapter in the Vocus growth story,” Mr Wildblood said.

Mr Griffen said he was excited to be joining Vocus, and to help build on the momentum the business has established in the market.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to join Vocus. There’s nothing more I love in business than challenging and disrupting the market, and delivering a better experience for customers.”

“Vocus has a strong pedigree in fibre networks and world-class solutions in the enterprise and government market. I’m really looking forward to taking that to the next level for customers,” he said.

A native Scotsman now residing in Melbourne, Mr Griffen is a proud father of 3 girls, loves football, cycling, skiing and good coffee.
