Sustainable Procurement

Vocus is committed to ensure a high level of environmental, social and governance performance across our entire supply chain.

Vocus regards our suppliers including contractors and consultancies as partners and appreciates their important role in enabling our success. We work with a range of industry-leading suppliers that align with our goals across the value chain. We engage innovative and local suppliers to help us be agile and efficient, drive digitisation and automation, and maintain high standards of transparency and integrity.

Our Supplier's Code of Conduct outlines Vocus' expectations of our suppliers regarding human rights, environment, health and safety, and business ethics which support us in maintaining our core values.

We aim to develop strong supplier relationships that create long-term, sustainable value for our customers, shareholders, partners and stakeholders in the community.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Building a sustainable and socially-responsible supply chain

We are a proud Australian company and we feel a responsibility to expand our supplier diversity, especially to First Nations businesses. We work with Supply Nation, Australia's leader in supplier diversity, to ensure the Vocus supply chain has a positive social impact. Learn more about Supply Nation.

Committed to human rights and modern slavery eradication

We uphold the highest standards across our value chain and are committed to working collectively across the Vocus value chain to eliminate modern slavery, share best practices, and explore ways to support victims.

Since 2020, we worked alongside the Telco Together Foundation to produce an Industry Statement on human rights and modern slavery.

There is no place for these practices in our operations or supply chains; as a signatory to the statement, we're committed to upholding a set of principles which draw on standards for business conduct set out in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Workplace health and safety

Safety is everyone's responsibility and at Vocus, we demonstrate and promote a culture of care for ourselves, each other, and the environment.

Our suppliers play a significant role in ensuring our commitment to keep each other, our people and the public safe - together we share a focus on providing safe and healthy workplaces. All suppliers (including contractors) engaged by Vocus for the purpose of performing work or providing a service to Vocus are required to comply with Vocus WHS policy and the WHS Contractor Management Procedure made available to them at engagement.
