Frequently Asked Questions
More information about Vocus fibre for business & enterprise internet and what our recently expanded fibre network means for you.
From 1 August 2025, Vocus completed the acquisition of TPG Telecom’s enterprise, government, wholesale fixed business and fibre assets. This gives us a combined network of over 51,000km of fibre, with over 19,000 connected buildings and 14,700km of submarine cables.
This means broader access to Vocus high-speed, business-grade internet — whether you’re in the CBD or in regional Australia. Ultra-fast fibre with more business internet plan options are now all under one provider: Vocus. It’s an expanded network connecting Australia's digital future.
Vocus Internet Express delivers a dedicated fibre connection that isn’t shared with other users unlike some business nbn® plans which mostly runs on a shared network. This means symmetric upload and download speeds, higher uptime, and less variability in performance during busy periods backed by strong SLAs. It's purpose-built for business operations. For businesses that require a symmetric, dedicated connection but have location/s without Vocus fibre, nbn® Enterprise Ethernet plans are available with 121 nbn® Points of Interconnect to Vocus high-performance fibre network providing an alternate access point.
For smaller businesses that require an asymmetrical, shared and affordable connection, Vocus offers business nbn® plans.
A Vocus business specialist will review your business address and network options, recommend the best business internet plan, and aim to contact you within 48 business hours with a personalised quote. Whether it’s bandwidth, cost, or scalability you’re focused on, we’ll help you find a solution - no commitment required when you submit an enquiry.
It's a new chapter for TPG Telecom customers as your services are now managed by Vocus. For more details on this transition, including billing, support, and service continuity, visit our information page for TPG Telecom customers.
