Telecommunications solutions for WA Government
WA Government agencies can now engage directly with Vocus as a preferred telecommunications supplier for telephony and connectivity solutions. This appointment enables government organisations to work with a Perth-based provider that understands the unique requirements of serving communities across Western Australia.
Vocus operates from Level 5, 202 Pier Street in Perth, with account management, project delivery, technical engineering, customer service and billing handled locally. Field service teams provide coverage across metropolitan Perth, regional centres and remote areas including the Pilbara.

Enhancing Connectivity for Whitsunday Regional Council
Whitsunday Regional Council, covering nearly 30,000 kilometres, faced significant connectivity challenges, especially in remote areas. The council's jurisdiction stretches from Airlie Beach to Bowen, Collinsville, and further into the mining regions. The need for a robust communication system was paramount to support work crews operating across this vast area.
Whitsunday Regional Council partnered with Airbridge Networks and Vocus to implement Starlink satellite technology. This collaboration provided 50 Starlink units for vehicle fleets and 20 fixed services for critical locations such as airports, jetties, and animal welfare centres.
