Your email service is changing — here’s how to keep it
Vocus will no longer support this email service. To keep your existing email address and all your stored emails, you’ll need to sign up with The Messaging Company by 8 May 2026. Below you’ll find everything you need to know, including key dates, costs, what happens if you don’t take action, and how to get help.
We’re making some updates to how we deliver our services, and as part of that, Vocus will no longer support your email service. The good news is we’ve partnered with The Messaging Company, a trusted email provider in Australia, who can continue supporting your email account so you can securely continue using it.
Here are some key dates to remember:
8 May 2026 - Sign up with The Messaging Company by this date if you would like to keep your email account. The Messaging Company will be in touch on the start date of your subscription with them.
9 May 2026 - If you have not signed up, your email account will be suspended and permanently deleted 90 days later.
To keep your email account and all stored information, you will need to sign up and pre-pay for an email account subscription with The Messaging Company by 8 May 2026 as your new provider. Simply sign up here.
If you still have access to your email, select Sign in another way on the sign-up page. You’ll receive a one-time code you can use to sign up. If you no longer have access to your email, contact support for help resetting your password.
Plans with The Messaging Company start at $6.99/month or $69.99/year (save $13.89 by paying yearly). To support you through this change, we have arranged a special offer that will be automatically applied when you sign up:
Monthly plan: First 3 months free or
Yearly plan: 25% off the yearly price
Once you’ve signed up and pre-paid for your new email account subscription, you should be able to access your third-party client (such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail) as you do today. If you use webmail, you’ll notice some changes to your webmail experience, but only after your email account is transferred to The Messaging Company at a later date.
We recommend you take the following steps as soon as possible:
- Create a new email address with your preferred provider
- Update your Vocus contact email if you have other Vocus services so we can reach you about your account
- Save important emails, attachments or contacts from your Vocus email account
- Update your email address with any other services that use it (government services, banks, utilities, etc)
- Let your contacts know that you’ll no longer be reachable at this email address
If you have other services with us, you will need to update your contact email address so you can keep receiving bills and important messages. To update your contact email address, please call us on 132 777.
You can keep using your account until 8 May 2026. After this date, it’ll be suspended and permanently deleted 90 days later. Once deleted, your emails, attachments and contacts won’t be recoverable. To avoid losing anything important, you may want to export and save what you need before the closure date.
No, this change only affects your email service. Any other Vocus services you have will continue as normal.
For customers on a paid plan, we have already stopped charging for your email service. If you were on a quarterly or yearly plan, you were only charged up to 4 March 2026. Any paid period beyond this date will be credited on your final invoice and any remaining credit will be refunded to your original payment method within 30 days.
