About John
John leads Vocus’ business-to-business go-to-market (B2B GTM) function, including product, marketing, and the various sales organisations.
John is a senior telecommunications and technology executive with more than 25 years’ experience across Australia and Europe. He has held senior leadership roles spanning enterprise and government, sales, technology services, networks and security, with a strong track record in business growth, transformation and M&A.
Most recently, he led the divestment of Telstra Purple, overseeing a team of 2,000 while delivering technology and transformation outcomes for customers, employees, and shareholders.
John previously held senior roles for more than 17 years in Telstra Enterprise, including Chief Customer Officer and Executive Director of Defence and Public Sector, with responsibility for some of Australia’s largest enterprise and government customer relationships. John began his career as a telecommunications engineer and then in technical sales.
John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Systems.
