About Ebony
Ebony is Vocus' General Manager, Government and Regulatory Affairs, where she leads engagement with governments, regulators and policymakers to help shape telecommunications and broader economic policy. She has a focus on sustainable investment, regional connectivity and national resilience.
She has deep experience across telecommunications and major infrastructure projects, having held senior government affairs roles at Nokia across the Asia-Pacific region and six years at NBN Co in positions spanning from Head of NBN Local and Government Industry Engagement.
A sucker for steel cap boots and high-vis gear, she spent time working on Barrow Island as the Chevron-operated Gorgon Project’s site public affairs manager where she managed a number of high profile events including visits from senior executives, and state and federal government.
Ebony has a Masters in Business Administration from Curtin Business School and is an accredited IAP2 practitioner (community and stakeholder engagement). She is also an all-round sports enthusiast, even watching the equestrian during the Olympic Games and can tell you everything you need to know about any Olympic sport.
