Vocus Communications (Vocus) is pleased to be named by the Victorian Government as a provider under the recently announced Telecommunications Purchasing and Management Strategy (TPAMS2025.)
TPAMS2025 introduces a competitive panel of carefully selected IT&T providers for Victorian Government agencies to choose from. Vocus, one of the largest network infrastructure investors in Victoria, has been selected for data network and internet services.
Special Minister of State Gavin Jennings said “The Victorian Government is one of the largest users of telecommunications services in Victoria and like any other consumer we know it’s smart to shop around to get the best value for money.”
Michael Simmons, Vocus Executive Director Corporate & Wholesale Australia reinforced that the opportunity was significant for Vocus.
“Vocus has significant heritage building solid relationships with Federal and State Government agencies and ensuring that they get the most from their telco investment. Our initial conversations with Victorian public sector agencies has been exceptionally positive.
“We’ve earned an enviable and growing reputation for delivering secure, reliable network services to government, and joining the TPAMS2025 panel endorses this. Vocus provides an alternative to the traditional Telco choices, and furthermore has the benefit of being local - headquartered in Melbourne, with a large proportion of our team based in Victoria.
“Vocus Communications has a proven record of building and managing networks for Government agencies across Australia and is well placed to provide the Victorian Government with great savings.”
