We have partnered with leading technology vendors including Cisco Systems and Redback Networks to build a high performance packet network with redundancy and fault mitigation at multiple layers.
Forming the core of our network backbone is an optical transport layer deployed on the Cisco ONS15454 platform. Utilising multiple physical paths and Resilient Packet Ring technology we are able to guarantee uptime in the event of a fibre cut or interface failure, allowing us to provide Industry leading SLAs.
Residing above this optical transmission is a high performance core routing layer, deployed on Cisco Systems' latest routing platform, the ASR1000. This network supports MPLS, IPv4, and IPv6 with all routers capable of holding in excess of 1,000,000 IPv4 routes and switching wire-speed GE/10GE services.
At the edge of our network we utilise the Redback SmartEdge family of routers, to provide innovative and flexible options for IP, L2TP, and PPP termination of subscriber sessions.
