Vocus signs major deal with iiNet

Vocus continues to gain traction with the largest ISPs in the country by announcing a major deal with iiNet.

The deal sees the provision of Vocus’ IP Transit from the US, as well as management of the customer IRU circuit.

Michael Mickel, iiNet’s Network Services Commercial Manager, says “Vocus is an obvious choice for iiNet. Through this relationship, we’re able to give our customers immediate access to loads of US networks using our own dedicated capacity on the PIPE Networks PPC-1 cable. On top of this, we’ll gain greater protection against major events like cable cuts – a good incentive for customers to join iiNet.
